When Eve bought this house, it was a burnt-out shell with an attached garage. She created two inventive lofts, one inside the house and one inside the garage. Re-purposed materials such as salvaged columns and commercial kitchens and custom-made railings by a local artist created unusual spaces. This was upcycling before that was even a word. Other features such as the floor cut-out to create an atrium space, overhead doors connecting the inside to the outside and skylights all worked to transform this humble house into a very special living space. The interior was designed by Eve. The exterior façade was designed by Hammer-Mann Designwerks, and Eve acted as general contractor.
