930 Penn used to be a warehouse. Until Eve put it to new use. Now the elegant old building’s interior is occupied by twenty families, living in twenty splendid, generous lofts. Modern kitchen and bathrooms and contemporary living quarters sharing space with history. We partnered with Rugby Realty on this project, and introduced a first-time feature in Pittsburgh – a basement garage with a car elevator. This historic tax credit project perfectly captures the intersection between new and old, restoring columns, windows and wood floors. Street level retail enhances the building, and the district, with night action, first, with Seviche, our favorite Tapas Bar, and now with Bridges and Bourbon.
