This historic and elegant two-story structure had been badly neglected when Eve purchased it. Then East Liberty was an impoverished neighborhood with little market value. The building housed, and continues to house, an eclectic set of tenants in the unusual studio-style spaces on the second floor along with five retail tenants on the first floor. Eve retained the layout of this unusual building and gradually, over time, restored all of its historic elements, including the beautiful stained glass transoms, most of which were buried behind plywood or in the basement. Now the building has been restored to its former glory providing a glorious addition to the transitioning neighborhood.
